SINGLETON  PUBLIC VISITS PARLIAMENT HOUSE

More than 100,000 students visit Parliament House each year as part of organised school visits. While in Parliament House students participate in a guided tour which includes a visit to both chambers. Recently, I had the pleasure of speaking to a group of students from Singleton Public School.

It’s a great opportunity for students to see first hand the system of government and gain an understanding of the nation’s democratic institutions and processes.
