FREEMAN OF THE CITY

I had the honour and pleasure of addressing the Civic Reception for Marie Davies and Harold Sternbeck. 

The distinction, Honary Freeman of the City, is the highest acclamation a City can bestow upon one of its citizens, dating from the 13th Century England. There could be no one more worthy of the award of Freeman of the City than Harold and Marie. 

My congratulations again to the two dedicated citizens.
