NEW FACILITIES OPENED AT CASSILIS PUBLIC SCHOOL

New school facilities were officially opened today at Cassilis Public School by the Hon Joel Fitzgibbon MP. The new facilities include shade structures, an outdoor learning area, school grounds improvements and a canteen.

“These outstanding facilities will help ensure all students at Cassilis Public School are encouraged to realise their full potential and attain their goals.”

Mr Fitzgibbon officially opened the new facilities on behalf of the Australian Government Minister for Education, the Hon Julia Gillard MP. Mr Fitzgibbon congratulated the school and its community on establishing the best possible facilities for their students.

The projects, totalling $100,000 were funded by the Australian Government under the Investing in Our Schools Program. Mr Fitzgibbon said the project demonstrated the Australian Government’s commitment to providing every student with the best possible learning environment through the provision of these new/updated facilities.
